从“哲学复兴”到“民族复兴”--论张岱年哲学的民族性

From “the Revival of Philosophy”to “National Renaissance ”—— on the Nationality of Zhang Dainian's Philosophy

民族复兴需从"哲学再兴"做起,复兴民族哲学——这是张先生终生秉持的信念,也是他全部哲学活动的宗旨。如果离开了传承千年的民族精神,中国哲学便丢失了自己的灵魂;如果丢失了生生不息的哲学基础,民族精神也只能是一种游魂。一个没有主体意识的民族是不可能实现现代化的。在中国新文化的构建中,民族本位即中国本位必须得到充分的体现。在张先生的心目中,文化问题为一个国家、民族的生死存亡的根本问题。他批判"全盘西化论",提出在融会中、西、马的基础上综合创造出中国新文化的思想是毕其终生学力而铸成的文化通观。从"哲学复兴"到"民族复兴",集中体现了张岱年先生哲学民族性的显著特点。

The national revival must start from 'revival of philosophy'. Renaissance of national philosophy-this is not only Mr. Zhang 's firm belief through his lifetime,but also is the purpose through all his activities of Philosophy. Chinese philosophy has lost his soul; if we lose the endless basis of philosophy and discard the national heritage spirit in the millennium,our national spirit has been only a wandering soul. If we discarded the national heritage spirit in the Millennium,then,Chinese philosophy would lose his soul; if we lost the endless basis of philosophy,our national spirit would be only a wandering soul. Without a subject consciousness of nation it is impossible to realize the modernization. In the construction of China's new culture,national standard,China national standard namely must be fully reflected. In Mr. Zhang's mind,cultural issue was the fundamental problem of a country's and the nation's survival. He criticized the'total Westernization',and put forward the theory of Comprehensive Innovation in the fusion of Chinese philosophy,western philosophy and Marxist philosophy as a basis to create the Neo- Chinese Culture. From 'the revival of philosophy'to 'National Renaissance',it embodied the remarkable characteristics of nationality of Mr. Zhang's philosophical thoughts.
