摘要 以经典ELES模型为基础,通过构建信息消费函数,从信息消费水平和信息消费结构两个层次对2001—2011年间江苏省城镇和农村地区的信息消费变迁及城乡差异进行了比较研究。研究显示:信息消费作为新的消费增长点,在城镇和农村都已成为最具潜力的消费领域;城乡居民信息消费水平差距大且都呈增长趋势;对比城乡的信息消费函数发现,城镇的基础信息消费为正值,农村的基础信息消费为负值;城镇居民信息消费的边际消费倾向和需求收入弹性均小于农村居民。这表明城乡的信息消费处于不同的消费周期,城镇居民对信息的依赖更高,农村居民的信息消费则对收入更为敏感,城乡居民的收入差距对信息消费差距有乘数放大效应。 Based on the classic ELES model, this paper discusses the differences of information consumption between urban and rural residents in Jiangsu Province from 2001 to 2011 by building information consumption func- tion. The result indicates information consumption has become the most promising consumption as a new growth point of consumption in urban and rural areas, and that the gap of information consumption between the urban resi- dents and rural residents is big but both increase. Through the analysis of information consumption function, we find that basic information consumption of urban area is positive, but rural area' s is negative. Both the income e- lasticity of demand and marginal propensity to consume of the rural area is higher than that of the urban area, which shows that urban and rural areas are in different consumption cycles. Urban residents depend more on information, but rural residents are more sensitive to income. The income differences of urban and rural residents have multiplier effect on the information consumption gap.
