Implementing the Spirit of Literature and Art Symposium to Integrate Military Literature Creation Strength: Review on Seminar of “Special Issue on Military Literature”, the 8th Issue of The People's Literature in 2014

2014年11月21日,总政宣传部艺术局、解放军军事文学研究中心、《人民文学》杂志社与解放军艺术学院文学系联合主办了《人民文学》2014年第8期"军事文学专号"作品研讨会。总政宣传部艺术局局长姜秀生,中国作协书记处书记阎晶明,《人民文学》杂志社主编施战军、副主编邱华栋,《文艺报》主编梁鸿鹰以及著名作家、评论家周大新、朱秀海、汪守德、张志忠、柳建伟、殷实等来自军内外的20多位专家、学者汇聚一堂。与会专家、学者高度评价了《人民文学》对军事文学的扶持、引领之功,普遍认为《人民文学》适时刊出"军事文学专号"具有重大意义。此外,他们还就军队新锐作家群体的崛起与创新,以及当代军事文学面临的挑战与机遇等方面进行了广泛而深入的研讨,真诚期待军队新锐方阵能够化蛹成蝶走出迷惘,创造我国军事文学辉煌的新生面。

On November 21, 2014, a seminar of “Special Issue on Military Literature”, the 8th issue of The People’s Literature, was held jointly by Art Council of the Publicity Department of the General Political Department, the P.L.A. Military Literature Research Center,The People’s Literature magazine, and Literature Department of the P.L.A. Academy of Art. More than twenty experts and scholars gathered in the seminar, including Jiang Xiusheng （director of Art Council of the Publicity Department）, Yan Jingming （secretary of Chinese Writers Association Secretariat）, Shi Zhanjun （editor-in-chief ofThe People’s Literature magazine）, Qiu Huadong （associate editor-in-chief）, Liang Hongying （editor-in-chief ofLiterature and Art newspaper）, and famous writers and critics like Zhou Daxing, Zhu Xiuhai, Wang Shoude, Zhang Zhizhong, Liu Jianwei and Yin Shi. The participating experts and scholars spoke highly of the support from and lead by The People’s Literature to the military literature, and generally believed thatThe People’s Literature’s timely publication of “special issue on military literature” is of great significance. In addition, they also had an extensive and in-depth discussion on the rise and innovation of new authors group in the army, as well as the challenges and opportunities faced by the contemporary military literature. They sincerely looked forward to the prospect that the new prominent square can step out of the maze and pupate into a butterfly to create a new and shining future of the Chinese military literature.
