Diagnosis and treatment of diffuse gliomatosis

目的探讨弥漫性脑胶质瘤病的治疗方案及预后。方法分析我院2009年8月—2014年8月收治的6例弥漫性脑胶质瘤病患者的临床资料，患者先化疗，待肿瘤体积缩小后再行手术治疗，观察疗效及患者生存质量。结果3例化疗后肿瘤缩小患者的生存时间延长，生存质量明显提高，3例化疗无效患者疗效无明显改善。结论先化疗再手术治疗可延长部分弥漫性脑胶质瘤病患者的生存时间，改善生存质量。

Objective To discuss the therapeutic scheme of diffuse gliomatosis and prognosis. Methods Clinical data from six patients who were admitted into our hospital from August 2009 to 2014 August and diagnosed with diffuse gliomatosis were analyzed. These patients first received chemotherapy followed by surgery when their tumor volume was reduced. Then the efficacy and quality of life were assessed. Results After chemotherapy, three patients manifested ob- viously extended survival time and improved quality of life. However, such changes were not clear in another three patients. Conclusion Chemotherapy followed by surgery can extend survival time and improve quality of life in some patients with diffuse gliomatosis.
