A Probe into the Cause of a Crime Committed by the Left- Over Children in the Countryside——Based on Hirschi's Social Control Theory

以赫希的社会控制理论为视角,审视农村留守儿童犯罪现象,指出由于农村留守儿童的现实处境削弱了社会联系中依恋、奉献、卷入、信念的控制力量,因而促成了违法犯罪的发生。期望通过对社会控制理论的分析和研究,扩大研究者的理论视野,增强对农村留守儿童犯罪现象的认识,以丰富这一领域的研究。

Based on Hirschi＇ s Social Control Theory, this article probes the phenomenon of a crime committed by the left - over children in the countryside and points out that due to the children＇ s real living condition without or in shortage of parent＇ s guard- ianship, the social control force for them in attachment, commitment, involvement and belief in the course of social bond is weak- ened and so the phenomenon of law breach by the children often happens. The article hopes that by means of the analysis and study of the Social Contyol Theory , the researchers＇ visual field of the theory will be further broadened and the knowledge of law breach by the children in the countryside will he more strengthened so as to enrich the study of this domain.
