据《夏小正考注》谈谈清代毕沅对北宋张有汉字复古思想的传承

Discussion on Qing Dynasty Biyuan's Inheritance from Zhangyou's Ideas about Ancient Ways of Chinese Characters According to Annotation on Xia Xiaozheng

毕沅在《夏小正考注》中依据《说文》辨别正俗,这种笃信《说文》、以《说文》为正统的规范汉字理念,实际是对北宋张有《复古编》以《说文》字形为规范汉字依据的传承。毕沅这种以《说文》为规范汉字依据,但又不极力反对其他俗别用字的做法,不仅有助于人们对文献的正确理解,也有利于考察异体字的传承使用情况。

Biyuan distinguished the standard Chinese characters and folk Chinese characters in his Annotation on Xia xiaozheng according to Explaining Chinese Characters. This ideal of standard Chinese Characters that regards Explaining Chinese Characters as an orthodox book is in fact the inheritance of Zhangyou＇ s Restoring Ancient Ways in Northern Song Dynasty using characters in Explaining Chinese Characters as standard ones. Biyuan took Explai- ning Chinese Characters as the basis for standard Chinese Characters, and he didn＇ t strongly object to the use of other folk characters. His act is not only helpful for people to correctly understand literature, but also is beneficial to examine the use and inheritance of variant Chinese characters.
