Different Roads,the Same Goal——Thinking from “Western Medicine Learning from TCM”

中医学作为传统文化的优秀代表和载体,具有与西医学同等的科学与文化地位。因为不同的哲学基础和发展背景,中医主要代表和体现了辅助与唤醒生命自身功能的治疗理念和方法,西医则更多的是参与和替代。两者虽然道路不同,但发展的终极目标是相同的,就是共同探索人类医学的终极真理。根据当前中西医结合的实际水平,"纯西医,西学中,纯中医,中学西"这四种力量,"四架马车"紧密合作,最终实现中西医真正融合的发展模式。

TCM science, as an excellent representative and carrier of traditional culture, has the same scientific and cultural position with that of western medicine. Because of different philosophical basis and development background, TCM mainly represents and embodies the ideas and methods of treatment which assist and awaken the life＇ s own function; While western medicine involves more participation and alternatives. Although their roads are different, the ultimate goal of development is the same, that is to jointly explore the ultimate truth of human medicine. According to the actual level of the integration of traditional Chinese and western medicine, the ＂four carriages＂ （the pure western medicine, western medicine learning from TCM, the pure TCM and TCM learning from western medicine） should closely cooperation and eventually realize the development pattern of real fusion of traditional Chinese and western medicine.
