The paper defines the concept of the cultural gene of military strategy and explores its functions and features. With the practice of US military strategy as the main clue, it sums up five-aspect cultural genes of US military strategy, and deeply analyzes and decodes them. It intends to provide a new perspective on interpreting the trend of US military strategy, to grasp the current situation of US military strategy under the background of establishing a new pattern of Sino-US relationship and deepening military fighting preparation.
