在西北地区众多的民间艺术中,传统木艺制品以高度的实用性和装饰性曾经成为人们应用广泛且与日常生活密切相关的器物,具有浓郁的民族风情和地方特色。从造型设计的角度介绍我国西北部具有代表性传统木艺—木器、旋木制品的内容形制、艺术内涵、造型特征,为更好的吸收和学习民间优秀传统和现代木艺设计提供参考和借鉴。

Among various folk arts in Northwestern China,traditional wooden handicrafts,with its high practicability and decorativeness,once was widely-applied in utensils in people＇s daily life,which contains rich national customs and local characteristics as well.From the view of style design,some representative wooden handicrafts were introduced from the aspects of the shapes,artistic connotation,and modeling features to provide some references for understanding the traditional folk arts and to serve the modern art design.
