西方社会结构理论无法认识和把握社会发展的客观规律及社会演替进程,因而对社会结构的认识和把握缺乏科学性。马克思对其超越体现在具有科学性上:实现了客观性与主观性的统一,既阐明了社会结构的客观性,也强调了社会结构的主观因素;强调了社会发展的规律性,强调生产力是社会发展的最终决定力量,它推动着社会结构依次演替,使其呈现出客观规律性。马克思社会结构理论为中国特色社会主义总体布局及和谐社会建设提供了思想支持。

Western social structure theory cannot recognize and grasp the objective law of social development, as well as the process of social succession, so it lacks of science in recognition and master of social structure. The surpassing of Marx to it reflects on science. The theory of Marx realizes the unity of objectivity and subjectivity, which clarifies objectivity of social structure, and the subjective factor of it. It emphasizes the law of social development, which is productivity is the final deciding force of social development, and it propels the succession of social structure, making it present regular pattern. Marxist social structure theory provides mental support for overall arrangement of socialism with Chinese characteristics and construction of harmonious society.
