For the problems of a Toyota 5A-FE engine cannot starting up due to not being used for a long time, engine＇s ignition and fuel injection eomputer control systems, fuel pump control circuits were conducted a comprehensive diagnosis and analysis, according to the fault symptoms and the diagnostic results, faults were eliminated one by one. After failure parts replaced and faults repaired, the engine could be able to start up and operate smoothly. This composite fault analysis of inspection and maintenance could be used in the practice teaching of engine comprehensive troubleshooting and then would make students had a more profound and specific understanding.
