摘要
"赶"字作介词表示比较义是湖北襄阳方言的一个特色。其结构形式可分为平比、差比和不及三种形式。在普通话中"赶"字没有做介词表示比较的用法,古汉语书面文献中也鲜有存在。文章认为是由"追赶、驱逐"之义引申而来。
The preposition＂Gan＂which imports comparison is a distinguishing feature of Xiang dialect. This usage can be divided into equality comparison,discrepancy comparison and inferior comparison. The mandarin doesn＇t have this phenomenon,and the available ancient documents seldom have it,either. It originates from the meaning of ＂chase＂and ＂running after＂.
