Comparison of Spring Cabbage Cultivars in Hubei Plain Area

春淡季节蔬菜价格较高,为了筛选出在这个阶段能上市的适宜甘蓝品种和确定最适播种期,引进了5个甘蓝新品种,在湖北地区分批播种试验,试验结果表明,希望、前途和春兰这3个品种产量较高,结球紧实,综合表现特好;以12月23日左右播种为宜,田间生产稳定,无病虫害发生。

There was a better market quotation of spring vegetable. In order to screen out the suitable cabbage cultivars and study their sowing date, we introduced five cabbage cultivars and arranged two different sowing dates in Hubei area. The results showed that the three cuhivars Xiwang, Qiantu and Chunlan had stable yield and especially good comprehensive characters, and the better sowing date was on December 23 or so, then no disease and insect pest occurred.
