Apparent Stiffness Evaluation of Thin-wall Polypropylene Bumper Fascia Material

将应用于薄壁和常规壁厚蒙皮零件的聚丙烯材料分别制备成一系列不同厚度的样板,并利用弯曲性能测试得到标准载荷-变形曲线来获取表观刚度进行评估。结果表明薄壁聚丙烯材料,可以为蒙皮零件提供与常规壁厚材料一致的表观刚度。

A series of plaques with different thickness using thin-wall and regular thickness wall fascia polypropylene are prepared and apparent stiffness of these plaques are obtained from load- deflection curve. It is indicated that thin-wall fascia polypropylene could provide consistent apparent stiffness for fascia with that of regular thickness wall fascia polypropylene. Besides the apparent stiffness evaluation method herein could be applied to the development of novel thin-wall fascia poly- propylene.
