我国的商务翻译产业:述评与展望

Business Translation Industry in China:Review and Prospects

随着国际商务理念的形成和商务翻译产业的兴起,商务翻译在我国渐成产业,潜力明显。本文通过梳理商务翻译产业化的演变过程,结合世界商务翻译产业的特点综述我国商务翻译产业的概貌,阐述其面临的机遇和存在的不足,对其前景做出展望。指出应加强对我国商务翻译产业的理论研究,建议政府、企业和院校联手,应对翻译市场管理、译员市场准入、应用型翻译人才培养三个方面存在的问题。

With the development of international business philosophy and the rising of business translation industry, a noticeable trend of industrialization of business translation in China is gradually taking shape with huge potential. This paper gives a brief introduction to industrialization of business translation and reviews the current situation of China＇ s translation industry with reference to world＇ s business translation industry characteristics. Opportunities China confronts and weak points in the field are pointed out, followed by prospective views. It is suggested that the theoretical research on translation industry should be enhanced. Moreover, the government, companies and universities should joint their hands for tackling the problems existing in management of translation market, market access system of translators as well as cultivation of applied translation talents.
