Supervision be separated from day-to-day operations is one of the three principles of the reform of institutions, but its content is not clear. Taking the reform of the public hospital management system as an example, this paper sums up and sorts out multiple-forms of supervision be separated from day-to-day operations adopted by local governments, analyzes the differences in understanding this principle and defines the nature of the principle in order to comprehensively and accurately understand of the principle of supervision be separated from day-to-day operations.
