根据物理学规律并结合西周制轮技术的历史背景,阐释《伐檀》中制造车轮过程与河面三种波浪形成的关系,并从河面波不同形态描述的真实性和合理性,推定《伐檀》的作者应为车轮制造者。根据古代农业与手工业的社会分工和造车业的重要性,说明车辆制造者是无需从事耕作和狩猎的"不素食"者。《伐檀》不是对剥削者不劳而获的讽刺,而是对手工业者劳作和生活的赞美。
