Mutual Construction of the Traditional Technology and Regional Society:The Study on Zigong Well Salt Community from the Perspective of Sociology of Technology

技术与社会的关系是技术社会学的核心问题。但技术决定论、社会建构论、技术与社会互动论都存在技术与社会的二元论解读,难以避免技术与社会的二元论困境。通过对自贡井盐社区的研究得出,井盐技术与自贡井盐社区存在相互影响、共同演进的互构共生关系,且这种关系蕴涵于整体的地方性井盐实践之中。这是技术与社会关系的实践逻辑,无疑为消解技术与社会的二元对立提供了一种启发性思路。

The relationship between technology and society is the core issue of sociology of technolo- gy. But technological determinism, social constructivism, interactionism between technology and society are all present the dualism interpretation on technology and society, hardly to avoid the dual- ism dilemma of technology and society. Through the study on Zigong well salt community, the au- thor concludes that well salt technology and well salt community influence each other and co-evolu- tion together indicating they have the mutual construction and symbiosis relationship, and the rela- tionship is contained in the integral local well salt practice, which is the practical logic of the rela- tionship between technology and society. It is no doubt this provides an inspiring perspective for re- solving the dualism of technology and society.
