Wuhan Municipal Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology conducted the salvage ex- cavation of the family tomb of Zhu Yinghu, Prince Tongcheng of Ming Dynasty, in collaboration with the Guanshan Road's Overpass Construction Project, from October to December 2010. Various burial objects indicative of funerary rituals conducted for the funerary objects buried with the Princeof Ming were unearthed from the cemetery, in which the particular jade belt excavated from tomb M5 had never been discovered in Princetombsin Wuhan. This cemetery offers the latest archaeological data for the study of the Royal familysystem during Ming Dynasty.
