Research on the Multimodal Modes in Vocational College English Speaking Contest

从动态多模态语篇分析理论角度,分析英语口语技能大赛中的多模态协同关系。首先对英语口语技能大赛中的多模态符号进行微观层面的分析,进而梳理了英语口语技能大赛中包含的多模态因素并研究了模态间的意义协同关系,提出要通过协调多模态语篇因素最大化口语交际效果,最后提出了四条建议以促进英语口语技能大赛的发展。

The present paper intends to analyze the multimodal modes in English Speaking Contest on the basis of dynamic multimodal discourse theory. It has analyzed the multimodal signs in the English speaking contests on micro level. It has also discussed the factors of the modes and the collaborative relation among them. The advice is to maximize effectiveness of oral communication through coordinating multimodal discourse factors. Four suggestions have been put forward to promote the development of English speaking contest.
