Empirical analysis of the impact of urban subway construction on the city economic growth in China

选取20个城市并收集其12个年份的面板数据,将地铁建设作为虚拟变量引入城市经济增长的柯布-道格拉斯函数模型,分析中国城市地铁建设对城市市辖区经济增长的影响。模型回归得出两个值得关注的结果:地铁建设对城市市辖区经济增长的作用不显著;样本城市市辖区的经济增长处于规模报酬递减的发展阶段。

In order to analyze the impact of urban subway construction on the urban municipal districts econonLic growth in China, the paper selects 20 cities, collects 12 years data together as panel data and introduces the dummy variable of subway construction into the Cobb - Douglas function model of the urban economic growth. Regression draws two noteworthy results that the effect of subway construction on the urban municipal districts economic growth is not significant, and the economic growth in urban municipal districts is in the development stage of decreasing returns to scale.
