英语乏词义结构的语义概念化研究

A Study on the Meaning Conceptualization of the English Delexical Structure

作为一种常见的句法结构,英语乏词义结构在研究中未得到足够的关注。本文探究该结构的语义概念化特征。研究发现,这类结构的显现主要受"隐喻概念化"和"选择概念化"两个认知原则的统摄。从隐喻概念化的角度看,这一结构受基于想象思维的本体隐喻的支配;从选择概念化的角度看,该结构突显了一个有界片段,而这种突显又与认知主体意向行为投射中心的变化相涉。

Despite its frequent use, the English delexical structure has not attracted considerable attention in research. This paper explores the meaning conceptualization characteristics of this structure. The analysis demonstrates that its emergence is subject to two cognitive principles： metaphor and selection. From the perspective of metaphor conceptualization, this structure is subject to the ontological metaphor based on imaginative thinking. In terms of selection conceptualization this structure endows a bounded episode with salience, which concerns the shift of the intentional behavior projecting center of the conceptualizer.
