以空间换时间是商务智能和数据仓库应用中的基本理念,其中可使用宽表和汇总表来实现。该文详细阐述了商务智能和数据仓库应用中的数据层次概念,以及每层的数据生成,即缓冲层、事实维度层、宽表层、汇总表层、固定报表层,提出了相应的实现数据转换的方法和工具,最后说明其可行性和实用性。
Trading space for time is an essential concept in business intelligence and data warehouse application, where wide tables and aggregate tables can be used. Expounded in detail the data hierarchy in BI/DW application and data generating in each layer, i. e. staging tables, fact/dimension tables, wide tables, aggregate tables and fixed reports. Proposed the corresponding approaches and tools for implementing data transformation. Indicated its practicability and feasibility.
