Just at the moment when the Compilation on the Researches for Site of Bohai Ancient City in Gaogouli compiled by the couple Wang Yulang and Wang Hongbei has been published for 20 years,the hardship and persevering spirit of the couple is retrospected,in addition,the academic value and influence of the book since its publication 20 years ago are also stated in this paper.
