摘要迈克·戴维斯是美国20世纪80年代以来一位激进的、杰出的马克思主义城市学者,他以其"黑暗"的观点在当前城市领域研究中颇受瞩目。戴维斯以犀利的角度批判了洛杉矶华丽外表下隐藏的黑暗与虚幻。迈克·戴维斯从全球化的视角审视,深化了对洛杉矶的认识,对中国城市化的发展具有深刻的借鉴意义。
