文学“之用”——对高校英语专业英美文学课程的思考及教学践行

On the Utilization of Literary Works——A Study of English & American Literature and Its Teaching Practice

针对高校英语专业英美文学课程受外语语言的"工具性"的冲击及"有用乃大"的功利主义思想的影响而被"边缘化"的现象,从英美文学课程与学生的专业学养、文化素养和道德修养三个方面论述文学"之用",并在教学实践中提出相关的对策和方法,重点是以文学与现实生活的关联凸显文学的"实用性"。

Because of the instrumental features and usefulness orientation of foreign languages learning,the course of English American Literature is always marginalized. The present study is to analyze the benefits of the course to tertiary students in terms of three aspects： their professional quality,cultural quality and moral cultivation. Related countermeasures and methods are put forward for its teaching practice,focusing on the usefulness of literature linked with real life.
