摘要
为填补亚丁湾护航背景下译员能力及相关问题研究的空白,根据参加海军亚丁湾索马里海域护航编队翻译工作的实践,以翻译能力的界定为先导,从政治素养、英语能力、外事能力、参谋能力、航海知识和了解外军兵力六个方面论述了护航译员的能力构成。通过分析护航译员的业务能力、管理机制、批次间衔接传承、角色定位等因素,指出了护航译员的能力构成存在的相关问题,并针对性地提出了相应的解决途径。
To fill the research gap of interpreter's competence and relevant problems taking place in conducting escort missions at the GOA, this paper, based on the writerrs experiences of being an in- terpreter serving an escort task force, starts from introducing how translation competence is to ex- pounding factors composing an interpreter's competence ranging from political accomplishment, Eng- lish language competence, foreign affairs handling capacity, staff advisory capacity, knowledge of sail- ing to knowledge of foreign forces at GOA. Furthermore this paper points out some existing problems by analyzing the factors such as professional capacity, management, group-to-group transmission and interpreters' role orientation and their corresponding solutions, and then puts forward some solutions.
