摘要
随着社会信息化发展的不断深入,致力于为各行各业培养信息职业人才的图书情报教育领域面临着在人才培养模式上的不断调整、完善与创新。美国北卡大学教堂山分校信息与图书馆学学院在美国图书情报教育领域保持多年的优势领先地位。通过分析该学院在各培养层次的课程设置与特点,为优化国内图书情报教育课程提出了建议。
In order to keep up with the rapid development of social informationalization, the informationand library science(LIS) education which aims to prepare students for careers in the information industryneeds more revisions and innovations on the talent cultivation model. The School of Information and Li-brary Science at the North Carolina University at Chapel Hill has taken the lead in American LIS educa-tion for many years. This paper analyzes the curriculum and provides some suggestions to improve the cur-riculum for Chinese LIS education.
