In this article, numerous practical cases are used to introduce the utilization of unconventional water resource and the working methods （government leading, department cooperation, public participation） in Yantai City. In further, more efforts will be put into water conservation work to quicken the paces of utilization of unconventional water source and promote the development of a water-saving society.
