On Continuing Education Serving Local Economic Development in the Newly- Built Colleges

继续教育是开发人力资源的重要手段和杠杆,服务地方经济建设是新建本科院校继续教育发展的必然趋势。试在讨论继续教育与地方经济发展关系的基础上,分析新建本科院校继续教育服务地方经济建设的意义,提出新建本科院校继续教育要依托学校资源,根据经济发展实际需求,走出一条以地方经济社会发展需求为依据,服务地方经济建设为目标的办学思路。

Continuing education is an important means and the leverage in developing human resources.Serving local economic construction is the inevitable trend for continuing education in the newly-built colleges and universities.This article first discusses the relationship between the continuing education and the local economic development, and then analyses the significance in its ser-ving local economic construction.The paper thinks that continuing education in newly-built colleges must depend on their own re-sources to run, which take the needs of local economic and social development as a gist, and serving local economic development as a major goal.
