From the perspective of female writer , the short stories collection Escape which is written by Alice Munro describes the family and marriage life of common people in Canada and the troubles and frustration that they had met .The paper tries to dis-cover the marriage dilemma confronted by the Middle and Lower Classes in Canada based on the analysis of the images and traits presented in the short stories of Escape.
