《第九个寡妇》是作家严歌苓在2006年推出的一部长篇小说。作品的主人公王葡萄是一个平凡的女子,但却有着不平凡的人生经历。在福柯规训力量的参照下,可以看到王葡萄在面对来自政治话语和传统规范性道德的规训时,不是像身边的其他人一样沉默顺从,相反她勇敢地对抗规训权力解构规训话语,发出自己心底的声音,从而保持了自我的主体性并且建立自己的生存美学。

The Ninth Widow is a novel created by YanGeling in 2006.Wang Putao, the heroine, is an ordinary woman with unordinary life experiences.With the perspective of Foucault’ s theory of disciplinary power, faced with the disciplinary power of political discourse and traditional normative morality,she was not obedient and kept silent as others.On the contrary, she rebelled against the disciplinary power, deconstructed the disciplinary discourse and made her own voice heard bravely.Eventually Wang Putao maintained her subjectivity and constructed her own aesthetics of existence.
