民间武术是我国悠久历史文化宝库中的瑰宝,发展民间武术是传承我国传统文化和弘扬民族精神的重要途径.但是,现阶段我国民间武术发展却陷入了困境.其主要原因有:西方体育文化对我国传统体育文化的冲击;民间武术核心的技击性价值减弱;乡土社会解构对民间武术发展产生的负面影响;国家城镇化建设改变了民间武术赖以生存的地理环境;民间武术固有特性限制了其传承工作的开展.提出建议:充分利用现代传媒宣传民间武术的价值;重视民间武术的生产性保护;强调民间武术的技击性价值;利用好学校体育课堂和青少年体育俱乐部等现代教育阵地.
