During the"International Workshop on 5G ICT-2014"held in Beijing on November 6,Cao Jianlin,Vice Minister of Science and Technology,said that the Chinese government had attached great importance to the development of5G.The Ministry of Science and Technology has invested about 300 million yuan in major R&D projects of 5G mobile communication systems in the national 863 plan,and has attracted the joint participation of more than 50 research and development enterprises,research institutes,and universities.
