摘要
本文研究了中国大学生对英文原版视频的语流切分。笔者发现:1在看或者听了一次访谈类视频之后,视听组所能回忆起的关键词远远多于听力组;2视听组和听力组在快速语流中辨别熟词的表现都不尽如人意,而且两组之间没有显著差异。本研究显示,访谈类视频中的视觉信息有助于关键词的回忆,但是对于语流切分的促进作用并不显著。笔者从二语习得研究和教学实践的角度分析讨论了实验结果。
This paper studies the speech segmentation by Chinese university students when processing English authentic videos. It is found that 1 ) after watching or listening to an interview clip for the first time, the audiovisual group can recall much more key words than the audio-only group; 2 ) in terms of identifying familiar words in fast speech, both groups score low and there is no significant difference between them. According to the study, the visual clues in an interview can promote recall of key words but produce no significant impact on speech segmentation. These results are further analyzed in terms of SLA research and language teaching.
