大学生英语实践能力培养的网络教学交互研究——基于社会网络分析的视角 被引量:12

The Research on Network Instruction Interaction Focused on Cultivating College Students' English Practical Ability—from the Perspective of Social Network Analysis

摘要 在大学英语网络教学中,师生群体中的语言表达和交流所形成的交互结构是影响大学生英语实践能力培养的重要方面。本文运用社会网络分析的方法,从整体社群图、小团体、中心性和对等性等四个方面对参与讨论的64名成员的网络交互行为和结构进行了分析。研究发现:适当的整体社群规模以及一定数量的小团体的内部强关系、中心度较高的成员在网络中的中介作用、结构对等性相同的成员间互惠作用,会对整个群体英语实践能力的提高产生积极影响;网络交互中所发生的更高阶段的知识建构对英语实践能力培养更具价值。研究同时对本网络教学实验中的成员交流互动的质量和水平进行了剖析,针对所发现的制约英语实践能力发展的因素,阐述了如何实施更有效的教学建议。 In college English network instruction, the interactive structure, which comes from expression and communication within teacher-student group, is of great importance in cultivating English practical ability among college students. This paper adopts the social network analysis approach to analyze the 64 participants' network interaction and their group structure involved in the experiment on the four aspects of sociogram, clique, centrality and equivalence. The results show that the proper group size, strong relationship within a number of sub-groups, intermediary role of high- centrality members in the network and reciprocity among students of structural equivalence work together in improving the English practical ability of the whole group. It is also indicated that higher-stage knowledge construction in the web interaction is more significant to that ability cultivation. The study also makes an analysis on the quality and level of the interaction among all the participants and discovers some factors restricting the ability development. Finally, some advices are expounded on how to carry out more effective instruction.
