The analysis of localization is widely used in the public art design for the tourism environment.Through the study of the reality and development of public art design for Guilin’s tourism environment,the writer is trying to illustrate the significance of the involvement of the symbols of the landscape,local history and folk culture in the city’s public art design.It can improve the tourism environment of Guilin by providing a unique pattern of public art,which is the combination of traditional art with modern one,landscape with culture.
