The borrowing-soil pit is a part of the highway construction project ,its safety management is very im-portant.With the example of a highway construction project ,its conception ,the difficulties of safety management and re-sponsibilities division are discussed.Finally ,how to effectively manage the borrowing -soil pit safely is put forward from identifying responsibilities ,publicizing and education ,on-the-spot management ,daily management and transfer after use.
