摘要
隐喻是形成人类概念系统的重要认知手段,但是二语学习者的隐喻能力发展却不尽人意。本文在对隐喻能力定义进行梳理并分析隐喻能力提高必要性的基础上,提出教学中通过对语言中隐喻现象的分析可以帮助学习者意识到隐喻的普遍性以及隐喻的认知解读,从而增强隐喻意识,继而从根本上提高学习者的语言能力,达到目标语使用者的流利程度并有效提高批判性思维能力。
Metaphor is a main cognitive means of human beings, which is fundamentally conceptual, but the second foreign language learners ' metaphorical competence leaves much to be desired. On the basis of the properties of metaphorical competence and its essen- tiality in EFL teaching, attempt is attached to help the learners perceive the universality of metaphorical competence and some feasible strategies are explored to cultivate effectively the learners' conceptual fluency as well as critical mind via metaphorical awareness, and then to improve the learners' linguistic competence automatically.
