摘要
由于文化市场体制的不完善,面对意识形态主导的主旋律文化与商业化主导的大众视觉文化的双重夹击,先锋艺术在视觉呈现上往往会采用一些极端的表征策略。这些视觉表征给公众带来了鲜明的视觉冲击力和"震惊"感。调查结果显示,教育水平较高的年轻人更倾向于接受和肯定先锋艺术的正面价值,把它视为一种令人震撼的视觉创新。不过,先锋艺术因其小众、激进、晦涩的特点,公众的关注度并不高。大多数人接触先锋艺术的频率很低,对于先锋艺术作品只停留在"看"、猎奇,甚至无所谓的程度。这从反面证明,先锋艺术注定是一种孤寂的艺术表达,一种具有批判意识的小众化艺术形式。
Due to the incompleteness of cultural market system in China,the avant- garde tends to apply some extreme representational strategies in visual manifestation under the double threats from both the mainstream culture dominated by prevailing ideology and the mass visual arts oriented by commercialism. These representations bring direct visual impact on and " shock" to the Chinese public. According to the survey,young people with relatively high educational level are apt to accept and affirm the positive values of the avant- garde,regarding it as a startling visual innovation. However,the avant- garde has not received a big popularity because it is a minority art that is radical and obscure. Most people stay away from the avant- garde,and remain spectators who are just curious about or even indifferent to it,which in turn proves that the avant- garde is doomed to be a solitary artistic form of expression,a critical art for minority.
