论我国民族教育的文化内涵

Review on the Cultural Connotations in Chinese Ethnic Education

"民族教育"实质上就是一种民族文化现象,是一个民族不断传递的创造性成就、目标与观念。民族教育的形式多样性、内容再生性与功能规范性等特征显示出民族教育的文化内涵经历了一个缓慢的、从自发到自觉的文化认识过程。文化共生下的"民族教育"内涵不应是人们狭义认识的"少数民族的教育",而应是培养学生对自身文化的理性反思,汲取各民族文明成就,实现自身文化重构与提升,从而促进不同民族共同繁荣发展。

Ethnic education in essence represents a culture. It is a process by people to transfer innovative achievement, goals and ideas. The diversity of ethnic education, along with the regenerated contents and norms reflects rather a long time to recognize an ethnic education, from spontaneous to self-conscious. The ethnic education in the culture symbiosis should not be understood as education for the minorities, but as a social instrument for nurturing students to self-reflection, assimilating other civilizations and achieving culture restructure and promotion.
