从莫言英译作品译介效果看中国文学“走出去”

The Reception of English Translations of Mo Yan's Oeuvre and the Light it Sheds on the Globalization of Chinese Literature

本文通过对莫言英译作品受众的问卷调查,借用EBSCO、WORLDCAT、OCLC等搜索系统,直接联系英言作品出版机构等方法,挖掘收藏莫言作品的世界图书馆馆藏量、莫言作品发行量、西方媒体莫言提及率等数据,在这些数据基础上推导、分析和判断莫言英译作品译介效果,提出为加强中国文学对外传播应采取的策略。

This paper assesses the reception of Mo Yan's English translations abroad by conducting a questionnaire-based survey among the target readers and finding out both the sales figures of these translations and the number of libraries that hold them.Based on the findings and the assessment,the author proposes some strategies for promoting translated Chinese literary works and enhancing their communicative effects internationally.
