摘要
探讨主要英语国家近半个世纪以来语言政策中对性别问题的观照,分析了性别包容性语言政策逐渐进入英语主流社会的原因、相关的内容及其影响,以及在翻译政策中的体现,以期获得对我国翻译政策的制定和调整的借鉴。
The recent decades witnessed the spread and adoption of gender-inclusive language policies in the major Englishspeaking countries. This paper makes an analysis of how and why inclusive language policies become dominant,and explores its major contents and its influence on the translation policies in the west,which may offer illumination to the translation policy making in China.
