摘要 概念流利很大程度上依赖于隐喻能力,具备了隐喻能力就达到了概念流利。隐喻表达比"字面意义"的命题话语更具有认知突显性。概念系统不仅是思维和行动的基础,也是交际的基础。人类生来具有隐喻性思维能力,但是熟练掌握L2语法的学习者并不一定具备相应的隐喻能力和概念流利能力。在课堂教学背景下L2学习者的概念流利和隐喻能力可以得到提高。 Metaphorical competence underlies conceptual fluency. Metaphor is cognitively more salient and versatile than literal,propositional discourse. Conceptual system is not only the basis of thinking and behavior but also the basis of communication. At least a certain portion of the human mind is programmed to think metaphorically. L2 learners of high grammatical proficiency will not necessarily show concomitant metaphorical competence and conceptual fluency. Metaphorical competence and conceptual fluency can be developed through classroom instruction and learners’ practice.
