《释名》一书的作者,迄无定论,本文从刘熙与郑玄师生关系考证人手,将《释名》声训与郑玄经注作全面的文本比照,进而论定刘熙为《释名》一书的作者无疑.
From now on, the author of Shiming is not definitively determined. By comparison of the texts of the acoustic exegetics in Shiming and Zheng Xuan ＇ s explanatory notes of classics from the angle of the teacher - student relationship between Liu Xi （ 刘熙 ） and Zheng Xuan （郑玄）, the conclusion can be reached that the author of Shiming is, untouchably, Liu Xi.
