试论新词新义研究的一些基本方法——从新词语“猛料”说起

On some basic methods of research into new words and their meanings

当前,新词新义的研究需要在正确的理论认识基础上,进一步探索合适有效的研究方法.本文详细地考察了新词语“猛料”的意义及其意义演变,并以此为例证,总结和探索了新词新义研究的一些基本方法,即语境释义法、词义源流分析法、二重证据法、“词汇系统”观念、频率统计法等等.

At present some suitable and effective methods should be ex- plored on the basis of sound knowledge of some theories when researching into new words and their meanings. This article probes and concludes some basic methods of research into new words and their meanings which are explanting new word meanings in context, analyzing the origin and evolution of word meanings, looking for two--side evidences, establishing the view of vocabula- ry system and statistics of frequency illustrated by the example of the new word mengliao which meanings have being investigated at length.
