摘要
《慧琳音义》收录诠释佛经中的难字难词，这些词语多为汉唐时出现的新词或方俗口语词，在探讨古今汉语的演变和中近古汉语研究方面弥足珍贵。本文就其所释耍婆、扮、方便、胡跪、滢落、剂、乐獍、慢幢、猕猴、笪、傲傥、脂、团栾、娃、镟、淤泥这十六个词语略作考释。
Huilin who lived in the Tang dynasty explained some dialecti- cal and folk words in his work Yiqiejingyinyi（《慧琳音义》）. These dialec- tical and folk words explained by him are useful for exploring the words that were used in Tang dynasty. In the paper the evolution of some of the words from ancient times to today and the academic value of them in the Chinese history are discussed, The writer researched 16 words which had been ex- plained in it.
