摘要
COR是植物冷调节基因,编码亲水性的多肽,通过形成α-螺旋的二级结构对产生脱水的细胞脂膜起到稳定作用从而使植物获得抗寒性。导入COR的转基因植物能得到抗寒性改良,其表达受到上游复杂的基因网络的调控。对COR基因与编码产物的结构特征及抗寒机理、抗寒基因工程、表达的调节、启动子具有潜在的应用价值等方面进行了综述,展望了该基因的研究意义。
CORis cold regulated gene in plant.It encodes hydrophilic polypeptide,which can formα-helixand interact with membranes and stabilize them to confer the plant cold tolerance.Transgenic plants expressing CORenhanced their stress tolerance and the expression is regulated by a complicated up-stream network.The significance of COR gene was reviewed from its cold resistance mechanism and gene engineering,the regulation of its expression as well as the potential practical application,and the research meaning of the gene was proposed.
