Supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China （Grant Nos. 51121061. 51172197 and 51332OO5） and the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, Prof. Tian Yongjun＇s Group at the State Key Imhoratory of Metastable Materials Science and Technology, Yanshan University successfully synthesized the nanotwinned diamond （nt-diamond） with unprecedented hardness and stability, which was published in Nature （2014, 510（7504）： 250 -3）.
