Applying advanced geophysical techniques can accurately find out the various geological factors influencing the mining,providing technical support for the mine water prevention and control work. This paper illustrates that the application of new technology of geophysical prospecting plays an important role in the geological work that is the guarantee of coal mine safety production. Mine geophysical prospecting detecting principle,method and its application are briefly discussed. Finally,the development trend of integrated geophysical prospecting technique in coal mining is pointed out.
